DMARC checker
Email doesn't inherit authentication. Without DMARC enforcement, any SMTP server can use your business domain name to send out emails.
Check DMARC recordWithout DMARC, hackers and other malicious users can impersonate messages, making them appear to come from your organization or domain. Turning off DMARC puts your users and your contacts at risk for spam, spoofing, and phishing.
DMARC ensures the destination email systems trust messages sent from your domain. Using DMARC with SPF and DKIM gives organizations more protection against spoofing and phishing email. DMARC helps receiving mail systems decide what to do with messages from your domain that fail SPF or DKIM checks.
DMARC Generator
Is your company having difficulty protecting its domain from cyber-attacks? Our free DMARC Record Generator tool generates a record that you can add to your DNS to improve email delivery.
What is a DMARC Record?
A DMARC record is a DNS TXT record that allows you to control how your email is handled if it fails DMARC authentication. DMARC stands for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance.
How do you set up a DMARC record on your domain?
Once the record has been generated, copy it and move it to your domain's DNS server. Paste the provided record into a new TXT or CNAME record. Note: Adding simply _dmarc is sufficient with most DNS providers as the domain part will be included automatically in the Host/Name field.
How is a DMARC record used?
The DMARC record shows that DMARC is set up for a domain and stored in DNS. The recipient will check the DMARC record when a message arrives to see if the sender has acknowledged using DMARC.
