What is BIMI?
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is the email standard that displays your company logo next to your messages in supporting inboxes. With a Verified Mark Certificate, Gmail also adds a blue checkmark.
It is the highest level of email identity for a company. Skysnag Certify manages the entire BIMI activation process for you.
Why is BIMI important for email marketers?
Marketers are always looking for ways to stand out in a crowded inbox, and a verified logo does that before the email is opened. In consumer research, a visible brand logo lifted open rates by 21%, purchase likelihood by 34% and brand recall by 18%.

What is a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC)?
A VMC is a digital certificate, issued by an authorized certificate authority, that confirms your organization owns the trademarked logo it wants to display. Gmail and Apple Mail require a certificate before they show a BIMI logo, and the Gmail checkmark requires a VMC specifically. Certify includes the VMC, which is valid for a year at a time, and keeps its renewal on schedule.
Which inboxes show my logo?
Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail, Fastmail, La Poste, Onet Poczta, Comcast and Zone, among others. Gmail adds the blue checkmark. Microsoft Outlook does not display BIMI logos today.
